This Privacy Notice explains how Dimensional Loop handles information in connection with our websites, Free Tools, software, products, purchases, licensing, customer support and related services, including UPMXS (Universal Project Memory Exchange System).
1. Our Privacy Approach
Dimensional Loop is designed around the principle that your files, projects and content belong to you.
Dimensional Loop does not claim ownership of the projects, documents, images, assets, project memory, knowledge or other content that you create, import or process using our products or tools.
Different Dimensional Loop products and tools may process information in different ways.
Some Free Tools operate entirely within your browser. Other current or future services may require server-side processing, licensing systems, infrastructure providers or third-party integrations.
Where a particular tool processes selected files locally in your browser, that will be stated on the relevant tool page.
2. Information We May Process
We may process limited information reasonably necessary to operate Dimensional Loop, provide our products and services, complete transactions, administer licensing, maintain security, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
This may include information such as:
- your name and email address;
- purchase and transaction references;
- product and license information;
- license activation or validation information;
- communications you send through Support & Feedback;
- screenshots, error messages or other materials you choose to provide when requesting support;
- technical information reasonably necessary to diagnose an issue, maintain service security or operate a product;
- basic website or service information generated when you access our websites, where applicable; and
- records that we are required to retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or regulatory purposes.
3. Dimensional Loop Free Tools
Dimensional Loop provides browser-based Free Tools for tasks such as image processing, formatting, validation, conversion, publishing preparation, calculations and other utilities.
Privacy behavior may vary depending on how a particular tool works.
Where a Free Tool states that a file is processed locally in your browser, the selected file is not intentionally uploaded to Dimensional Loop servers as part of that tool's processing operation.
For example, a tool may use browser technology to resize or convert an image on your device and create the resulting file without transmitting the image itself to Dimensional Loop.
This local-processing description applies only to tools that expressly state that they operate locally.
It should not be interpreted as a promise that every current or future Dimensional Loop product or tool will operate entirely within your browser.
If a future tool requires file upload, server processing, cloud storage or an external service, we may provide additional information about that processing through the relevant tool or service.
4. Your UPMXS Project Data
Your UPMXS project data remains under your control.
As part of normal use of the UPMXS desktop software, Dimensional Loop does not routinely receive, upload or store the contents of your local UPMXS project files merely because you use the software.
Dimensional Loop does not claim ownership of your UPMXS project information, documents, images, assets, project knowledge or other project content.
You are responsible for storing, protecting and backing up your UPMXS project files.
5. Information You Choose to Provide for Support
If you contact Dimensional Loop through Support & Feedback or request technical assistance, you may choose to provide screenshots, error messages, files, project information, diagnostic information or other materials that help us understand your request.
Information supplied for support or feedback is provided by you voluntarily and may be used to investigate, respond to and resolve your request and for related security, legal or operational purposes where necessary.
You should avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, confidential project information or other sensitive information unless it is reasonably necessary for us to investigate the issue.
6. Payments
Payments for UPMXS and other paid Dimensional Loop products or services may be processed by Paddle, our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record, or by another payment provider identified at checkout.
Payment providers may collect and process information necessary to complete your transaction, including billing information, payment information, tax information and transaction details.
Payment information handled directly by a payment provider is processed under that provider's own privacy and data-protection practices.
Dimensional Loop may receive transaction information reasonably necessary to confirm purchases, provision products or licenses, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud and provide support.
7. Licensing and Activation
UPMXS and other licensed Dimensional Loop software may communicate with Dimensional Loop systems to activate or validate a software license.
We may process information reasonably necessary to verify license validity, associate a purchase with a license, prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use and provide licensing support.
License and activation systems are not intended to collect the contents of your UPMXS projects or unrelated personal files.
8. AI and Third-Party Services
UPMXS and other Dimensional Loop products may allow you to prepare, export, send or transfer information for use with artificial-intelligence systems or other third-party services.
You control what information you choose to provide to those external services unless a particular feature expressly explains otherwise.
Information sent to an independent third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms, privacy practices, retention practices and security measures.
Dimensional Loop does not control how independent third-party services process information that you provide directly to them.
9. Website and Technical Information
When you use a website or online service, limited technical information may be generated automatically as part of normal internet operation.
Depending on the services and infrastructure we use, this may include information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, requested pages, timestamps, diagnostic events, security events or similar technical information.
Such information may be processed where reasonably necessary to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse or understand service reliability.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Dimensional Loop may use cookies or similar browser technologies where reasonably necessary for website operation, security, preferences or other disclosed functionality.
We may display advertisements supplied by Google AdSense on Dimensional Loop websites, including our Free Tools, if and when advertising is enabled. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and personalize ads, where permitted by law and applicable consent choices.
These technologies may use information about visits to this and other websites to help deliver relevant advertising and measure ad performance. The advertisements shown, and whether they are personalized, can depend on your location, settings and consent.

Where required, we will request appropriate consent before using non-essential advertising technologies and provide applicable privacy choices. We may update this Notice as our advertising or analytics services change.
11. How We Use Information
Information we process may be used to:
- operate Dimensional Loop websites and services;
- provide requested products and functionality;
- confirm and administer purchases;
- issue, activate and validate software licenses;
- provide requested customer support;
- receive and respond to feedback;
- investigate technical or security problems;
- prevent fraud, abuse or unauthorized licensing;
- maintain necessary business and transaction records;
- comply with applicable legal obligations; and
- protect the rights, security and operation of Dimensional Loop, our customers and our services.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including transaction administration, licensing, customer support, service operation, security, accounting and legal or regulatory obligations.
Different categories of information may need to be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and applicable legal requirements.
Files processed entirely within your browser by a local processing Free Tool are not retained by Dimensional Loop as part of that local processing operation.
13. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to operate Dimensional Loop, provide infrastructure, process transactions, administer licensing, provide support, prevent fraud or comply with legal obligations.
Service providers may include hosting providers, payment processors, infrastructure providers, communications providers or other companies that assist in providing a Dimensional Loop service.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process or a valid governmental request.
14. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information under our control.
However, no electronic system, website, network, software application or method of storage can guarantee absolute security.
You are also responsible for protecting your devices, passwords, project files, downloaded files and other information under your control.
15. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you rights concerning your personal information.
These rights may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or information about how your personal information is processed.
Available rights and procedures vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to legal exceptions, including information that we are required to retain for transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention or other legal purposes.

16. Children's Privacy
Dimensional Loop products and services are not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent or another legal basis would be required.
If you believe personal information relating to a child has been provided to Dimensional Loop inappropriately, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
17. International Processing
Dimensional Loop and its service providers may operate or process information in countries other than the country in which you live.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers of personal information, appropriate measures may be used as required by that law.
18. Changes to This Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice as Dimensional Loop, UPMXS, Free Tools, our business practices, service providers or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on the Dimensional Loop website with its latest revision date.
